This pretty gelding will make a nice all around horse. He has a really nice start on him & just needs to be finished. He is walking, trotting & cantering under saddle without any difficulty. Slate is level headed & nothing much seems to bother him, he has even been out on the trail with bikes, rollerbladers, strollers etc...... He is sound & VERY sensible. He has the build to make a very nice HUS horse & the mind to do well on the trails. We think he would do really well in WSCA. UTD on vaccinations SOLD

This gelding has moves that you have to see to believe. They don't come much more beautiful then this, and he is just 4yo. Give him a few years & he should take you to the top!!!.Billy is very willing & easy to get along with horse & he loves people.He is still growing & not yet fully mature. Therefore he is still green and probably best suited for an experienced handler or someone who knowledgable about young, green horses or someone who will be under the direction of an instructor. He has had groundwork done & he has been lightly started under saddle. Currently he is going very willingly at the walk, trot & canter under saddle. He has been started on the ground over jumps & LOVES IT!!!
We think that once this boy is finished he will make a GREAT Hunter Jumper, Eventer or Dressage mount. Wilson has been on the farm since he was a yearling. He has ALWAYS been good minded & easy to handle. Gets along well in the herd & is not aggressive. He has been used primarily as a trail horse. Wilson is used to kids, dogs, bikes, rollerbladers, strollers etc. He will ride down the trail alone or in a group. He has even been ridden bareback down the trail & been on overnight camping trips. He has been lead around the farm with young toddlers riding him. He hasn't been ridden much in the last year & a half, but did spend 30 days in training as a refresher. Because he has not had much riding time over the last year & a half, he would be best suited for an advanced or intermediate rider. He has ALWAYS had a very willing to please & VERY forgiving attitude. We have always thought he would make a really nice all-around show horse. HE stands approx 15.1H, has a nice confirmation & a kind soft eye. He has the natural ability to go to the show ring, he just needs someone with the knowledge to take him to his potential. Simon is by far, absolutely without a doubt, the EASIEST yearling we have ever handled. He has better manners & respect then some of the older horses we have worked with. This guy is truly a pleasure to be around. We cannot say enough great things about this gelding.This gelding has impeccable ground manners. He stands patiently while tied & is VERY respectful of your space. He is handled on a daily basis. Simon is going well on the longe line, he knows & responds well to both verbal & non-verbal cues for walk, trot, canter & whoa. He is currently working on standing square on cue. This gelding is quiet & easy enough for a youth handle, with supervision. In fact he would make a GREAT youth or 4H, English or HUS prospect. In the meantime, he will be getting ready to show in the longe line classes. Simon is not at all spooky, nothing much seems to bother him. He should be very easy to start under saddle. He is grandsired by the great AQHA stallion "INVITATION ONLY". This stallion is the #1 leading performance sire for 2006 & 2007.Simon is UTD on all vaccinations, wormings, coggins & farrier work. We like this gelding so much that we really don't care if we sell him or not. You can't go wrong with this guy. He has size, age, looks & experience all in his favor. Riley is a BIG guy, he stands approx 16.0 hand & has a solid, sturdy build. Don't let his size intimidate you --- he is as GENTLE as they come!!Riley has been ridden & handled by riders of all levels. He is currently being used as a trail horse for our "non-horsey" friends, but he has been used in the past as as a lesson horse. Riley goes both English & Western, has done a small amount of lower level jumping for a pony club. Nothing seems to bother this guy. He goes under bridges, crosses water, is used to rollerbladers, bicycles, strollers, dogs, you name it. He would be PERFECT for someone looking for a nice relaxed trail mount. He could also be competitive in the WSCA, local open shows or even mounted patrol.Riley is UTD on all of his farrier & dental work. Current on vaccinations & worming. He is definitely worth a look!!!
